Our Story
Midwest Cable was founded in 2010 by a team of network engineers who were tired of seeing rural Virginia communities stuck with outdated DSL connections and unreliable satellite internet.
We started by building fiber infrastructure to serve Purcellvilleand quickly expanded across western Loudoun County. Our investment in direct peering at Equinix DC2 in Ashburn and Equinix NY9 in New York means our customers get the same low-latency, high-speed connections that businesses in downtown D.C. take for granted.
Today, we serve over 5,000 residential and business customers with internet, cable TV, and nationwide mobile service. We've grown, but our commitment hasn't changed: deliver the best possible connectivity with honest, local customer service.
As an MVNO, we've expanded beyond our fiber footprint to offer mobile service in all 50 states — giving our customers the freedom to stay connected everywhere they go while keeping the same trusted local provider.
